“American Idol” Finalist…If you are not familiar with Twitter, you have people that “follow” you. If you are funny, a celeb, an American Idol contestant etc, you probably have numerous people “following you” because they are fans. I’m not sure if this indicates that this person is the most popular Idol contestant….

So far this year, Paul McDonald is in the lead with around 2,500 followers, and wild card pick Ashthon Jones is the least popular with 296 followers. Thia Megia leads the girls with over 1,000 followers, and believe it or not, Jacob Lusk is the least followed male with just over 400 people reading his tweets.

Also keep this in mind…Lee DeWyze was one of the LEAST followed Idol contestants during the competition.
